Community champion joins the Collie team
After almost two decades championing the Collie community, long-standing Western Australian Member of Parliament Mick Murray has joined the IG6 team. The former MLA for Collie-Preston was enticed out of retirement to take on a new role as Collie Relations Manager. He will help us establish local operations and support efforts to develop the region as a hub for new technology-based industries.

IG6 signs up for green energy
One of Australia’s green energy retailers is looking at building a big battery in Collie and IG6 is planning to be one of the first customers for its renewable energy supply. IG6 has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ZEN Energy to help achieve targets for low carbon emissions and facilitate rapid production expansion in the future.

IG6 makes a strong ASX debut
International Graphite made an exciting debut on the Australian Securities Exchange today under the code ASX: IG6. The $0.20 shares opened at $0.40, peaking at 42 cents, before closing the day at $0.36 - an 80% gain on the IPO.

IG6 adds dual listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange
Hot on the heels of our ASX debut, International Graphite is now trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as (FSE:H99). The dual listing is a milestone in our plans to be part of Europe’s progressive battery market, which the European Battery Alliance EBA250 expects to be worth €250 billion a year by 2022.

WA Government announces $100m big battery for Collie
IG6 joined leading companies who are putting Collie on the renewable energy map, at an industry forum hosted by Western Australia's South West Development Commission. WA Minister for Regional Development Alannah MacTiernan announced plans for one of Australia's biggest batteries to be built in the region.

Graphite spheronising mill arrives in Collie
A new graphite spheronising mill is the latest piece of equipment to be delivered to the Collie plant, part of a suite of R&D plant that will be used to refine production processes and determine final product specifications.

Resource deal assures IG of world class feed supply
International Graphite has struck a deal to acquire Comet Resource’s Springdale graphite resource in a landmark arrangement that will create Western Australia’s first vertically integrated graphite production facility, from mine to customer.

New equipment kicks off research and development
The main equipment items for our purified graphite research and development program have arrived at the Collie plant. The centrepiece is a new laboratory furnace capable of reaching 3000°C – the first of its kind in Australia.

Students preparing for technical careers were given a look into the future at the first Science Alliance event, at the Collie campus of South Regional TAFE. The program featured IG and other industry innovators supported by the Collie Futures Fund.

WA Government invests $2m in IG
The Western Australian Government will invest $2 million to back International Graphite’s plans for Western Australia’s first downstream graphite processing plant, at Collie. The grant, from the Collie Futures Industry Development Fund, was announced by Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan.

Gearing up for downstream graphite production
