Japaese testwork achieves top results from Springdale graphite

A testwork program coordinated by Japan’s Marubeni Corporation, one of the world’s biggest integrated trading and investment conglomerates, has returned battery grade results from Springdale graphite concentrates. International Graphite has been collaborating with Marubeni under a non-binding memorandum of understanding for the potential supply of spheroidised graphite from Springdale and potential financial support for International Graphite’s mine to market strategy.

$4.5M Government grant secures construction start for Collie Micronising Facility

In a significant milestone, International Graphite Limited has secured funding to construct the first purpose-built commercial graphite micronising plant in Australia. The Company has entered into a funding agreement with the Western Australian Government releasing $4.5M of the grant awarded in April 2024. $2.0M will support construction of Stage 1 comprising a ~3,000 tpa micronising facility to be built, at an estimated capital cost of ~$4.0, adjacent to the Company’s existing premises in the Collie Light Industrial Area.
